with Andrea Lodico

October 17th-23rd, 2026

A return to one of my favorite spots. Move a little bit more slowly. Turn your attention inward. Luxuriate in days filled with yoga, exquisite food, and community.

Retreat to PugliA

“Incredible and life changing. I found the vibe and energy of the people to be extremely special and the teachers and classes were top notch. I came away feeling like I made 13 new friends.” Melissa Hatter

“The whole experience, which is no small undertaking, especially the way everyone had choices to customize their own personal retreat from excursions, yoga classes, massages and downtime to just unwind. The communal table was really special for me, not just for the divine food, but the flow of conversation. Just really lovely energy!” Vicky Sioukas

In 2026, join Andrea Lodico for a journey to southern Italy, where ancient olive groves meet turquoise seas and time slows down. For one magical week at La Rosa dei 4 Venti, immerse yourself in the beauty of la dolce vita — and a celebration of movement, rest, and community.

Each day will begin with energizing, playful vinyasa and wind down with soul-soothing yoga nidra and meditation. In between, savor farm-fresh organic meals, lounge by the pool, explore hidden beaches, bask in the fall’s golden light, and wander through postcard-perfect villages. Expect laughter, connection, and the joy of discovering the undiscovered.

Puglia is extraordinary — the breathtaking coastline, the mouthwatering food, the feeling that it is just a bit untouched by the crowds. We will visit charming towns, rich with history, taste olive oil made from olives picked from 3,000 year-old trees, and take dips in the sea off secluded beaches. If deep rest is what you’re after, La Rosa boasts a beautiful pool and plentiful hidden nooks and hammocks to read or nap in, as well as a stunning forest. Massages and bodywork are available for an additional cost.

For those who have journeyed to La Rosa, I hope you’ll join me for a return to this magical place. For those who haven’t yet delighted in a trip to Puglia, I cannot wait to share this special spot with you.

La Rosa dei 4 Venti, Puglia, Italy: Our Home for the Week

La Rosa dei 4 Venti is a dream. Lovingly cared for and managed by its extraordinary staff, La Rosa invites you to deeply restore. Tucked away in the heart of the Itria Valley — midway between the Adriatic and Ionian Seas — this beautifully restored 17th century monastery and farmhouse was thoughtfully reimagined as a home for yoga. La Rosa sits among rolling hills, orchards, olive groves, and vineyards with gorgeous spaces to relax and unwind.

And the food — it is a revelation. Every meal at La Rosa is vibrant, abundant, and artfully crafted. The kitchen centers and celebrates vegetables in creative, flavorful forms, accompanied by handmade pasta, focaccia, and pastries crafted with Senatore Cappelli flour — an ancient Puglian grain. Fresh dairy from nearby farms and locally caught fish round out the offerings, creating a playful and nourishing culinary experience that connects you deeply with the land.

La Rosa is a stones throw from Martina Franca, which is full of narrow alleys waiting for you to get lost in with delicious local cuisine and Baroque architecture. Martina Franca is well-known for its weekly market on Wednesday mornings filled with local produce, cheeses, olive oil, flowers, and vintage clothing.

Known for whitewashed hill towns, farmland, a sweeping coastline, and some of the best food in Italy, cucina povera ("kitchen of the poor), a visit to Puglia blends stunning vistas, rich history, and flavors that delight. Highlights of the region include the elegant white city of Ostuni, the baroque Lecce, celebrated as the Florence of the South, and Matera, a UNCESCO town carved into bare limestone rock, filled with centuries-old caves (although technically just over the border in Basilicata!). Trulli, singular conical dwellings dot the landscape, surrounded by enormous olive trees that date back thousands of years.

Puglia never fails to inspire — with aquamarine waters that dazzle, flavors that delight, a history and culture that captivate, while offering quiet to connect and restore.
